Seven Planets To Align For A “Planet Parade”
Most of them will be visible to the naked eye but you'll need high-powered binoculars or a telescope to view Neptune and Uranus.
Seven planets are expected to align Friday night.
Planetary alignment occurs when several planets gather closely on one side of the sun at the same time.
Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars have caught up with each other. That means they will look as though they are lined up as they pass Earth.
Most of them will be visible to the naked eye but you’ll need high-powered binoculars or a telescope to view Neptune and Uranus.
This Planetary Parade will come just over a month since the last one. It can be witnessed just after sunset.
