Marion Co. Coach Charged In Connection To Child Sex Crime

Jessica Huggins is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old on three separate occasions.

A now-former coach at Mullins-Marion Christian School has been arrested.

Jessica Huggins was a volunteer coach for the girl’s basketball and volleyball teams.

She is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old on three separate occasions. The incidents occurred between October of last year and this month.

The 36-year-old is also accused of sending sexually explicit images to them as well as persuading the teen to send sexually explicit material.

She now faces three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. She is also charged with criminal solicitation of a minor and dissemination of obscene material to a person under 18.

Huggins is being held at the Marion County Detention Center without bond.
