Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Life Of One Person

40-year-old Robin Richardson was taken to a hospital where he later died.

A single-vehicle crash in Horry County claimed the life of one man.

Around 7:30am on Saturday, a Ford pickup truck was heading down Beverly Road near Pawley Swamp Road when the driver veered off the left side.

It hit a mailbox and a fence before traveling off the right side of the road, flipped multiple times and struck a ditch and a cable box.

40-year-old Robin Richardson was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
