Socastee Students To Put On ‘Seussical The Musical’

The play will feature all the classic story characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and more. 

Students of a local school are preparing to put on a performance.

Socastee High School is putting on ‘Seussical the Musical.’ It will feature all the classic story characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and more.

The students will bring the characters come to life through music and dancing.

Over 80 students are involved in the production. Some are taking to the stage and others are working on the tech crew.

Opening night will kick-off Thursday and the show will run through Sunday.

The play will start at 7pm each night, with 3pm matinee shows Saturday and Sunday at Socastee High School with tickets ranging from $15 to $20.
