All the clothing that will be displayed are handcrafted out of recycled materials.
A fashion show fundraiser is set to soon be held.
‘Compassion Through Fashion’ raises money for New Directions, which runs four homeless shelters and combats homelessness, poverty and addiction in the myrtle beach community.
All the clothing that will be displayed are handcrafted out of recycled materials.
The lineup includes a dress made out of grocery bags, boots built with bottle tops and a purse crafted with duct tape.
Designers will be awarded for categories such as most creative, most humorous, most wearable, and people’s choice.
The event will be held at 6pm on March 1 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Tickets cost $75 to attend.
