Arrest Made Months After Shooting Death Of 35-Year-Old Man

The suspect has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

An arrest has been made months after a man was shot and killed.

On September 14, 35-year-old Robert Fields was shot at the Absolem Hookah Lounge along Second Loop in Florence. He later died at a hospital.

Last month, police released photos of a vehicle the suspect may have fled the scene in.

An investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Trevor Johnson who was detained Thursday.

He has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Johnson is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
