Three Suspects Arrested Following Alleged Mob Assault

An Investigation revealed two of the suspect hit a victim several times.

Several people are behind bars after an alleged mob assault took place in Marlboro County.

On Sunday, officials responded to Lauring Wills Road to interview a victim who claimed they were involved in a fight on Church Street in Cilo.

One of the victims reported being assaulted and shot at.

After further investigation, Kenya Monroe and Nivea Bostic were both charged with assault by mob and criminal conspiracy.

Meanwhile, James Sewell was charged with pointing and presenting a firearm and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

An Investigation revealed Monroe and Bostic hit the victim several times. Sewell was witnessed pointing a firearm at a second victim while making threats.

All three suspects are being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
