One Man Arrested And One Still Wanted In Connection To Death

One man has been arrested while another is at large in connection to the death of a 17-year-old girl.
On January 24, Jasmine Smith was found unresponsive in the front yard of a residence in the 300 block of East Vance Street.
On Friday, police conducted a search on a home in the 5300 block of Crestline Road in Laurinburg.
An investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Jordan Jacobs who was later located at a residence on Pea Bridge Road.
The second suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Isaiah Patterson. He remains at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Both face charges of first-degree murder in connection to Smith’s death.
