Senate Votes To Approve Several Of Trump’s Cabinet Picks
On Wednesday, the Senate voted to confirm Pam Bondi the next Attorney General.
Throughout this week, the Senate has voted to confirm several positions of Trump’s cabinet nominations.
On Monday, the Senate approved Chris Wright to serve as Energy Secretary in a 59-38 vote. The position is key to promote President Trump’s efforts to achieve U.S. “energy dominance” in the global market.
Then on Tuesday, Former Georgia Rep. Doug Collins was approved to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. The chamber voted 77-23 allowing Collins to oversee one of the federal government’s largest agencies.
On Wednesday, the Senate voted to confirm Pam Bondi the next Attorney General. The 54-46 vote gives her control of a Justice Department in the midst of controversy.
The Senate is scheduled to make several more decisions on Trump’s cabinet picks.
