City Of Hartsville Appoints New Fire Chief
New leadership comes after city leaders dismissed former chiefs in November citing "policy violations."
The City of Hartsville has appointed a new fire chief.
Ricky Flowers has been tapped to take on the role to lead the department.
The city said he “brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication” to the job.
“Chief Flowers’ extensive experience, proven leadership, and deep roots in Hartsville make him the perfect choice to lead our fire department,” said City Manager Daniel Moore.
The new leadership comes after city leaders dismissed Former Chief Jeff Burr and two others in november citing “policy violations.”
