Applications Open For NMBPD Citizens Police Academy Program

The program will allow residents to learn more about the everyday operations of the department.

Applications are now open for a program with the North Myrtle Beach Police Department.

The Citizens Police Academy program will allow residents to learn more about the everyday operations of the department.

It will cover information on patrol procedures, investigations and traffic enrollment.

You must be 18 or older to apply.

The program will begin on February 6 and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks from 6-8pm.

The deadline to apply is January 27.
