One man is facing several charges after a series of events unfolded in Horry County.

Around 12:30pm on Friday, the S.C. Highway Patrol responded to Beaver Run Boulevard on reports of a three-vehicle crash.

A Ford pickup truck collided with two cars when the driver attempted to turn right from Dick Pond Road.

49-year-old Jeremy Sammons reportedly fled the scene and escaped to his home on Bridleford Drive.

Around 20-minutes later, officials arrived to the home to confront Sammons about the incident.

He then took off and struck a patrol car that a trooper occupied. He went on to hit a mailbox, Christmas decorations and two additional patrol vehicles before running into a fence.

No officers were injured during the incident. Significant injuries were not reported from the initial crash either.
