Antonio Pierce Fired From Head Coach Position For The Raiders

Pierce said he was not aware of any reason as to why he wouldn't be back next season.

The Las Vegas Raiders announced yet another change in the team’s head coach position.

Antonio Pierce was fired after a 4-13 season as the head coach’s first full campaign in the top job. He went 5-4 as the team’s interim coach to close out 2023.

Pierce said he was not aware of any reason as to why he wouldn’t be back next season. However, the Raiders said they wish nothing but the best for Pierce and his family in the future.

Owner Mark Davis will now search for the sixth person to fill the head coach position since he took over franchise in 2011.
