2-Year-Old Toddler Dies After Incident Involving Utility Vehicle

Around 5:15pm on Saturday a Can-am side-by side utility vehicle was traveling on Bay View Drive near Loris.

An incident that unfolded in Horry County claimed the life of a toddler.

Around 5:15pm on Saturday a Can-am side-by side utility vehicle was traveling on Bay View Drive near Loris.

Four people occupied the vehicle including two children.

One of the toddlers fell off the side-by-side onto the road and was ultimately run over by it.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the child as 2-year-old Ellieana Mishoe of Aiken.

Further details remain limited as an investigation is underway.
