Donald Trump plans to pardon “most” rioters accused or convicted of storming the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Trump has long promised to grant clemency to those who rushed the Capitol as Congress certified the 2020 election win of President Biden.

However, Trump has not revealed how many people he plans to pardon.

More than 1,500 January 6 defendants have been charged in connection with the Capitol attack. Their conduct ranges from trespassing misdemeanors to assaulting police and seditious conspiracy against the u-s government.
