Two Kindergarteners In Critical Condition After California School Shooting
The gunman reportedly died at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A shooting unfolded at a school in California Wednesday.
Around 1pm, a gunman opened fire at the Feather River Adventists school in the city of Palermo.
Two kindergarteners ages five and six are in “extremely critical condition” after being shot. Both children are being treated at a trauma center in the Sacramento area.
The gunman reportedly died at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Their identity has not been publicly released as investigators work to learn more.
However, it is believed the suspect had no prior connection to the victims or the school. Investigators currently have reason to believe the private Christian school could have been targeted because of its religious affiliation.
