Pedestrian Struck And Killed While Walking On Florence Co. Road

A 2017 Jeep Compass was driving in the right hand lane when they attempted to pass another vehicle.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Florence County early Wednesday morning.

The victim was walking south in the left lane of TV Road near Black Creek Road. They were just over a mile north of Quinby.

Around 12:20am, a 2017 Jeep Compass was driving south in the right hand lane when they attempted to pass another vehicle.

While in the left lane, the Jeep struck the pedestrian who was walking.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity was not publicly revealed.
