Investigation Underway After Man Found Dead In Robeson Co.

Police were called to the 1500 block of East Green Springs Road in Parkton on reports of a weapon violation.

An investigation is underway after one man was found dead in Robeson County.

Around 10:45am on Saturday, police were called to the 1500 block of East Green Springs Road in Parkton on reports of a weapon violation.

Upon arrival, two houses were found with gunshot damage.

Officials later discovered 20-year-old Brandon Deal dead along a roadway near one of the homes that had been shot into.

Investigators have learned the shots came following a domestic assault.

One person believed to be involved has been identified, but their name was not publicly released.

Authorities are working to reveal more.
