Trump Threatens To Impose Tariffs On Three Major Suppliers

Trump said the tariffs would remain in place until "drugs, in particular fentanyl, and all illegal aliens stop this invasion of our country!"

Donald Trump threatened to impose sweeping new tariffs as soon as he takes office.

The tariffs would be imposed on Mexico, Canada and China as part of his effort to crack down on illegal immigration and drugs.

Trump plans to impose a 25% tax on all products entering the country from Canada and Mexico. An additional 10% tariff on goods from China.

If implemented, the tariffs could dramatically raise prices for American consumers on everything. That includes everything from gas to vehicles as well as agriculture products.
