President Biden described the fight against climate change as a "defining" part of his presidency.

President Biden took a trip and delivered remarks regarding the climate.

The leader became the first sitting president to visit the Amazon rainforest. There he described the fight against climate change as a “defining” part of his presidency. He warned future administrations that undoing it would risk depriving the world of its benefits.

During his time in office, Biden has pushed for cleaner air, water and energy and achieved legislation that steered unprecedented federal spending to the fight against global warming.

The president said, “I will leave my successor and my country a strong foundation to build on if they choose to do so.”
