Trump Appoints Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy To Control New Department

It will not be a federal agency in the U.S. government but will provide advice and guidance "outside of government."

Donald Trump announced two billionaires will take control over the a new department.

The president-elect is adding a new “Department of Government Efficiency.” It will not be a federal agency in the U.S. government but will provide advice and guidance “outside of government.” Instead, it will partner with the White House and office of management and budget to “drive structural government reform.”

Trump did not detail how this new department will be funded. However, he did appoint Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead it. He said they are two wonderful Americans that will pave the way for his administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures and restructure federal agencies.
