New Hotel Coming To Surfside Beach

Construction is scheduled to break ground in the spring with plans to open before summer in 2027.

Mayor of Surfside Beach, Robert Krouse, announced a new hotel is coming to the town.

The Hampton Inn and Suites will be built on the lot next to Johnny D’s along Highway 17 Business.

It is expected cost around $18 million.

Plans for the new place to stay includes 145 rooms, an indoor pool and conference space.

Krouse said, “Besides the initial permit fee, this project will bring an attractive development to our town, significant property and a-tax revenues and customers to patronize our businesses in town.”
