Over 1.4 Million Honda And Acura Vehicles Recalled

Each vehicle is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine in which an issue with connecting rod bearings could occur leading to complete engine failure.

A recall has been placed on over 1.4 million Honda and Acura vehicles.

The recall covers 2016-2020 Acura MDX, 2018-2020 Acura TLX, 2016-2020 Honda Pilot, 2017-2019 Honda Ridgeline and 2018-2020 Honda Odyssey.

It comes after over 170 complaints were filed.

Each vehicle is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine in which an issue with connecting rod bearings could occur leading to complete engine failure.

The announcement also comes after the company recalled around 250,000 vehicles for the same issue last year. That recall saw 1,450 warranty claims with no reports of injuries or deaths.

Honda is reportedly cooperating with an investigation into the issue.
