Former ICE Director, Tom Homan, To Act As “Border Czar” In Trump’s Cabinet
In addition, Homan will be in charge of all deportation of illegal immigrants back to their country of origin.
The former ICE director will serve as “border czar” in Donald Trump’s upcoming administration.
Tom Homan will be in charge of the southern and northern borders of the nation as well as “maritime, and aviation security.”
In addition, Homan will be in charge of all deportation of illegal immigrants back to their country of origin.
This role does not require Senate confirmation.
The move comes after Trump won the presidential election and plans to tackle his highlighted top priority commitment to removing illegal immigrants from America.
Homan said the military would not be rounding up and arresting immigrants in the country illegally and that ICE would move to implement Trump’s plans in a “humane manner.”
