Information For Voting In The Carolinas

All voters who are in line when the polls close will still be allowed to vote so make sure you're in line before closing times.

If you’re heading to the polls Tuesday, here’s some information you should know.

In South Carolina, polls will close at 7pm. Meanwhile polls in North Carolina will close at 7:30pm.

You must bring identification by providing either a valid state driver’s license, a Department of Motor Vehicles ID card, a voter registration card with a photo, a federal military ID or a U.S. passport.

No cameras are allowed inside the voting booth. You cannot show your ballot to others, take or remove a ballot, interfere with another voter, attempt to influence other voters or help another voter in the voting booth.

These offenses could come with fines up to $100 or a sentence of up to one year.
