Halloween Treats for a Spooky Gathering
Turn your cinnamon rolls into bloody guts!
Cinnamon Roll Guts
1 can Cinnamon Rolls (make sure to get the ones that unravel…Great Value)
Red Food Coloring
(Optional: add strawberry jelly or jam for a flavor)
Unravel cinnamon rolls and place them in a 9×9 baking dish, placing them to look like guts.
Bake using instructions on the packaging.
Mix food color and optional jelly into warmed up icing. Add a lot of coloring for a deeper red bloody look.
Apply to cinnamon rolls once out of the oven.
Doing so whole warm will help the icing spread easier.
Ghostly Pastries
1 box of Puff Pastry…should come with two sheets.
1 jar Nutella
1 Egg
Water
Ghost cookie cutter
Straw
Let the pastry thaw according to instructions on the box.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Use cooking spray on baking sheet.
Lightly flour your workspace and roll out the puff pastries after thawing.
Spread Nutella all over one (a thick layer!)
Then put the other pastry sheet over the top.
Use Halloween cookie cutter to cut out ghosts and then use the end of the straw to cut out eyes and mouth.
Whisk egg with a bit of water to make an egg wash and top onto the ghosts.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 8 to 9 minutes.
Bandaid Wafers

Strawberry Jelly
Vanilla decorating icing
Use a grater to round the end of the wafers for a better bandaid look.
Using decorating icing to draw rectangle onto wafers.
Put a bit of jelly onto the icing to make the “bandaids” look used.
