Four astronauts have finally returned to Earth.

The three Americans and one Russian should have been back two months ago but that journey was extended to an eight-month stay at the International Space Station.

Their homecoming was halted due to problems with Boeing’s new Starliner, which returned empty last month. Hurricane Milton also interfered, followed by another two weeks of rough weather conditions.

The next crew to be returned will include Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, whose separate mission went from a week to eight months. Two others that have been at the ISS for four weeks will return as well.

Those four will remain in space until February.
