Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Home Leaving Four People Displaced/One Injured
Witnesses reported they heard four to five propane tanks going off, even sending one soaring into the air.
A residence sustained extreme damage after a two-alarm fire in Horry County.
The flames broke out at a home on Sky Bow Branch in the Loris area near the N.C. state line.
Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to the call around 3:20pm Wednesday.
In addition to the home, a gazebo and camper were also destroyed. Six vehicles and a motorcycle were heavily damaged as well.
One person was taken to a hospital but is expected to be okay.
The fire left four people displaced.
Five other departments had to be called to assist in getting the flames under control.
