Arrest Made After Lumberton Shooting

An arrest has been made after one victim suffered injuries following a shooting incident in Robeson County.

Shortly before noon Monday, police responded to the 1200 block of North Elm Street in Lumberton.

Upon arrival, a 36-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. They were treated by EMS before being transported to a hospital. Their current condition is unclear.

26-year-old John Hendren was located after a brief search of the surrounding area. He was then detained and taken to the Robeson County Detention Center in connection to the shooting.
