Woman Arrested For Shooting Man Amid Domestic Disturbance

On Tuesday, Florence County police responded to the 400 block of North Schofield Street on reports of a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, only 45-year-old Delores Williams was on the scene.
Deputies later discovered a man was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.
An investigation revealed that Williams shot the victim with a handgun following a verbal altercation. Their current condition is unclear at this time.
Williams is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
