It works best at around 3 am which is when most people wake up in the middle of the night due to stress-related cortisol spikes and low blood sugar. The sugar provides glucose to calm the body, while the salt helps regulate fluids and blood pressure. Together, they ease the nervous system for better sleep. To make sleepy dust, mix 5 tablespoons of cane sugar, 1 tablespoon of sucanat, and 2 teaspoons of sea salt. Then, take a quarter teaspoon when you need it at night.
