Darlington Raceway Offering Refuge For Hurricane Evacuees

The campground is a free and safe destination for people who need to bring their campers, trailers and vehicles.

Darlington Raceway is offering refuge to hurricane evacuees.

Wednesday morning, the NASCAR track opened its east campground, located inside turns three and four.

The campground is a free and safe destination for people who need to bring their campers, trailers and vehicles to escape impacts from Hurricane Milton.

The campground is also open to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

In addition, the raceway is hosting a Track Laps for Hurricane Helene Relief Thursday from 5-7pm.

It cost $25 per car for you to drive 3 laps.

All of the funds will go to the American Red Cross in their efforts to help those affected.

The racetrack is also accepting donations to be sent to those in need.
