Horry Co. Crash Leaves One Person Dead And Another Injured

Around 10:30am Monday, the accident happened on River Oaks Drive near Connemara Drive.

A crash in Horry County resulted in the death of one person and left another injured.

Around 10:30am Monday, the accident happened on River Oaks Drive near Connemara Drive.

A 2015 Ford Sedan was heading north when it collided with a 2012 Honda Sedan that was traveling south.

The Ford then collided with a Volkswagen SUV that was also traveling south.

The crash involved entrapment.

The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force injuries. He was identified as 69-year-old Michael Petrovich of Myrtle Beach.

The driver of the Volkswagen was transported to a hospital where they remain, but their condition is unclear.

The driver of the Honda was not injured.

All of the drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles.

The crash is under investigation.
