Frontier Airlines Flight Catches Fire During “Hard Landing”

On Saturday, Flight 1326 was arriving from San Diego at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
It was in the process of landing when smoke was reported in the cockpit and the pilots declared an emergency.
Airport officials said the plane “experienced a hard landing where basically tires blew.”
Flames were coming out from under the plane that left a trail of smoke after it landed.
A total of 190 passengers and seven crew members were safely transported to the gate area and no injuries were reported.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
