A new study suggests that traveling may improve your health and slow down aging. Published in the Journal of Travel Research suggests that… leisure travel activities can improve mental health, help with chronic stress and prevent over activation of the immune system. The study says positive travel experiences such as meeting new people, exercising, relaxing and getting better sleep can slow the process of aging. Researchers did point out that bad travel experiences could negatively impact a person’s health. The study ultimately concludes that traveling can be “groundbreaking” for overall health.
