S.C. Army National Guard Members Deployed To Help With Helene Relief
More than 680,000 residents remain without power across the state.
In response to Hurricane Helene, 600 soldiers from the S.C. Army National Guard have been deployed to help with disaster relief across the state.
The service members are helping clean up debris, isolate downed power lines, as well as distribution of food and water.
Additional personnel will be brought to S.C., including a Red Horse unit from Florida.
More than 680,000 residents remain without power across the state.
There have been 29 confirmed storm related deaths in S.C. alone.
President Biden confirmed that at least 600 people remain unaccounted for at this time.
