Hospice Nurse Dies In Horry County Crash Involving Entrapment

The accident occurred shortly before 4:30pm Tuesday along Highway 501 near West Perry Road.
A 2024 Toyota Corolla was crossing the highway into a middle median when it was struck by a 2020 GMC Sierra pickup truck that was traveling south on 501.
The incident involved entrapment.
61-year-old Linda Sullivan was the driver of the Corolla that pulled out in front of the GMC. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sullivan was a nurse at Patriot Hospice and Palliative Care.
The identity and condition of the pickup truck driver was undisclosed.
