Details Released Following Fatal Crash During Police Chase
38-year-old Martin McFeely was the driver of the suspected vehicle who was killed when the Sedan rolled over and struck a tree.
Additional details were released in connection to a fatal crash that occurred following a police pursuit in the Loris area.
Around 6:30am Monday, an officer witnessed a car at a stop sign near Red Bluff and Heritage Roads. The vehicle had its right rear door open and its hazard lights on.
When the officer approached the car, the driver reportedly took off at a high rate of speed. The officer followed the 2008 Mercury Sedan in an attempt to stop it.
