Israel Intercepts Ballistic Missile Launched By Hezbollah
This is believed to be the first ballistic missile launched by the militant group toward Israel.
A ballistic missile was fired Tuesday targeting Israel’s economic center, Tel Aviv.
Hezbollah confirmed it launched the ballistic missile intended to target the headquarters of Israel’s intelligence service Mossad.
Hezbollah blames Israel for attacks targeting its members through the fatal explosive technology attack that unfolded last week.
Israel’s military said the missile was intercepted near the city of more than 4 million people. There were no reports of damage or injuries after the interception.
This is believed to be the first ballistic missile launched by the militant group toward Israel, marking a new escalation in the conflict between the two sides.
