Manhunt Underway In Robeson Co. For Suspect In Murder Investigation

45-year-old Alvino Wilson is now wanted on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Robeson County police are searching for a suspect in connection to a murder investigation.

Shortly after midnight on Monday, police responded to a home on Britt Road in St. Pauls on reports of someone shot.

Upon arrival, 36-year-old Shaunta Jones was found dead in the residence.

45-year-old Alvino Wilson is now wanted on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is considered armed and dangerous.
