Man Charged In The Fatal Shooting Of A 23-Year-Old

23-year-old Tyshaun Johnson was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound.

An arrest has been in a shooting investigation that unfolded in downtown Darlington.

The incident occurred along the 100 block of S. Main Street shortly after 1:30am on Sunday.

The victim’s vehicle crashed into a building.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Marquis McGill has since been arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center without bond.
