A pedestrian was struck and killed in Florence County Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred shortly after 3pm on Carmon Short Road near Jordan Church Road just one mile north of Olanta.

The pedestrian, identified as 34-year-old Brandon Tedder, was pronounced dead at the scene.
