Mortgage Rates At Lowest Level Since Early 2023

Mortgage rates have decreased over half-a-percent over the last six weeks after beginning to drop last month.

Mortgage rates have dropped to the lowest point since February of 2023.

The standard 30-year fixed-rate mortgage average now sits at 6.2%. That’s down from last week’s 6.35% and well below the two-decade high of 7.79% in October of 2023.
