Second Juvenile Charged In Connection To Threats Made Against School

The threats prompted Florence District 3 to move classes to an E-learning day on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution.

Another juvenile has been charged in connection to threats made against Lake City High School.

Earlier this week, a 15-year-old was arrested after allegedly making threats on social media targeting the education facility.

The threats prompted Florence District 3 to move classes to an E-learning day on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution as well as attempt to ease fears in the community.

Now, a second juvenile has also been arrested in connection to the threats.

Both have been transported to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia pending a court hearing.
