19-Year-Old Identified As Victim Killed After Crane Collapsed On A Building

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon along Cambria Court in the Bridgewater Community off of Highway 9 in Horry County.

We now know the identity of the victim that was killed after a crane collapsed on a residential building.

19-year-old Anibal Sanchez Pelayo of Galivants Ferry died at the scene after suffering multiple traumatic injuries.

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon along Cambria Court in the Bridgewater Community off of Highway 9 in Horry County.

The home was under construction at the time.

Witnesses said they watched the crane fall and heard a loud crash as the large equipment tore through the home.

The incident is still under investigation.
