Toyota Recalls Over 43,000 Vehicles To Tow Hitch Issue

Dealers will replace the tow hitch cover and modify the rear bumper, free of charge.

Toyota has placed a recall on over 43,000 vehicles.

The company recalled some 2023-2024 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles that have a tow hitch cover on the rear bumper.

It was said the tow hitch cover could come loose from the bumper and detach from the vehicle.

The action could become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Letters notifying owners are scheduled to be mailed early October.

Dealers will replace the tow hitch cover and modify the rear bumper, free of charge.
