Angel Vause To Face Trial In Regards To Lying To FBI Agents
Vause, who was there the night of the murder, has admitted to lying regarding the events leading up to Drexel's death.
The girlfriend of convicted killer Raymond Moody is heading to trial after choosing not to plead guilty.
Angel Vause recently admitted to lying to federal agents during the investigation into the disappearance of 17-year-old Brittanee Drexel in 2009.
The girl’s remains were found and Moody confessed to killing her in 2022, he was sentenced to life in prison.
Now, Vause, who was there the night of the murder, has admitted to lying regarding the events leading up to Drexel’s death.
Vause was initially expected to plead guilty but was given 10 days to decide. However, she has now opted to face a jury who will decide on two charges of lying to the FBI.
If convicted, she could face up to 16 years in prison.
A trial date has not been set
