Chick-fil-A Is Considering Starting A Streaming Business

Chick-fil-A is considering taking on a new venture.

The chain of fried chicken sandwich shops wants to get into the TV streaming business.

The company is reportedly working with several producers to create family-friendly shows to stream on its own channel.

The idea is to emphasize unscripted, or “reality” shows. It may also license and acquire existing shows.

If succeeded the streaming service could launch sometime later this year.

That would put Chick-fil-A in line with several other non-entertainment firms with entertainment ambitions including Lyft and Airbnb.
