Conway City Council Approves Plan To Build Around 1,200 Homes
The idea was sent back to the drawing board several times before the officials unanimously passed.
The Conway City Council passed a final reading of a plan that will bring many homes to the city.
The plan is to annex around 450-acres near Highway 378, Juniper Bay Road, Dayton Drive and Dunn Shortcut Road.
Developers want to build about 1,200 homes as well as a commercial use, city park and stormwater ponds.
The original plan was to build roughly 1,800 homes. However, the idea was sent back to the drawing board several times before the officials unanimously passed the second and final reading this week.
