Five-Hour Pursuit Leads To The Arrest Of Four Teens

Robeson County police have arrested four teens after a five-hour pursuit.
It was said the teens were witnessed driving a stolen Kia and were being chased by a detective when the vehicle got stuck in a field. The teens then exited the car and fled on foot into a wooded area.
The first teen was caught near Jacqueline Drive, another on Nantucket Road and the third was captured on Great Marsh Church Road. The fourth teen was later detained at his home by investigators.
Deputies also used a drone to track the teens and residents reported seeing them throughout the day.
All four teens now face several felony charges including fleeing and eluding arrest, reckless driving, felony larceny and more. They were placed in custody of the Cumberland Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
An investigation is still underway and more arrests are likely. Anyone with information is urged to contact Robeson County authorities.
